YouToo Inc

YouToo, Inc. is a community-focused organization in Shreveport, Louisiana, working to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged students. Through its Louisiana Goes to College initiative, the organization helps first-generation college students access the guidance, resources, and support they need to begin college and succeed. Its programs include mentorship, academic support, financial assistance, career guidance, and college-readiness workshops, delivered with educators, business professionals, and community partners.

Louisiana Goes to College also offers “If These Walls Could Talk,” which guides families of students with disabilities in establishing educational accommodations in college. Its events provide practical support for students, including an annual trunk giveaway of dorm and college supplies, a community dorm-supply drive, and workshops held in partnership with the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance. The organization also organizes the Chef Orlando Memorial Foundation Annual Scholarship, which awards scholarships to first-generation students. YouToo, Inc. invites schools and campuses to request college- and career-readiness services, and welcomes donations, sponsorships, volunteers, and community participation to help students overcome barriers and complete college.
