The Youth Shooting Sports Foundation (YSSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting safe, responsible participation in shooting sports among young people. It provides essential funding to youth organizations, helping them access the equipment, coaching, facilities, training, and community support needed to develop young shooters’ skills and respect for the outdoors. Groups supported include high school scholastic trap teams, the Boy Scouts of America, and 4-H programs.

YSSF is entirely volunteer-run, with no salaries and little overhead. The foundation states that all funds it raises go directly to local shooting sports groups. It raises money through online and in-person raffles throughout the year, as well as banquets organized by local committees. Its events include ticketed fundraising activities such as Purses & Pistols Pokeno gatherings, and raffles featuring items such as firearms. Through these fundraising efforts, YSSF helps youth groups sustain and grow their shooting sports programs. The foundation is based in Byesville, Ohio, and shares information about its events and raffles through its website and email updates.
