ytCropper

YT Cropper is an online service for creating and sharing shorter clips from YouTube videos. Users begin by entering a video URL or its specific ID, then choose the section they want to share by setting start and stop times on a simple, draggable timeline. After cropping, the service provides both a direct link and embed code, making it possible to share a selected excerpt through social media, email, text messages, profile pages, or a personal website.

The tool is designed for situations where a full-length video may be unnecessary and a brief segment can communicate a point more effectively. YT Cropper says it works across devices and presents the process as a straightforward, three-step experience: enter a video, adjust the excerpt, and share or embed the result. The site also features popular videos and clips, offering users the possibility of gaining visibility through its Most Popular section. In addition to the cropping tool, the website includes information about an API, YouTube favorites, video editors, post-production experts, and web designers.
