About YouthThinkersSociety
YouthThinkersSociety (YTS) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2016 in Afghanistan. Registered with the Ministry of Economy, YTS focuses on leadership development and capacity building of youth through active volunteer engagement and participation. Their mission is to empower young minds by providing intellectual and proactive mediums for skill enhancement to support the local community.
YTS offers various programs and initiatives, including the Pamir International Model United Nations Conference (PIMUN), which aims to promote sustainable peace by engaging young people in discussions about global issues. They also organize the PIMUN-ICC, which celebrates the International Women's Day and localizes the Sustainable Development Goals in Afghanistan. Another significant event organized by YTS is the National Youth Symposium (NYS), which focuses on the Sustainable Development Goals and brings together youth talents from across 34 provinces in Afghanistan.
Additionally, YTS runs the MUN4AFGHANISTAN program to provide Afghan youth with opportunities for skill development and decision-making. Through their approach of facilitating intellectual and proactive mediums, YTS aims to empower young minds and support their growth as leaders in their communities
