Tŷ Celf-the Art House

Y Tŷ Celf – The Art House is a community arts hub and Community Interest Company based at 1 John Street in Llanelli. Founded in 2017, it brings art into the heart of the community while supporting local creativity and wellbeing. The hub supports ten freelance artists and makers, providing a place to exhibit and sell affordable art through its member-supported gallery. Its programme includes monthly exhibitions that showcase different artists and groups, alongside opportunities for emerging and established local creatives to present their work through exhibitions and art trails.

The Art House also runs welcoming arts and crafts workshops for individuals, partner organisations and community groups. These sessions offer opportunities to explore creative skills in a safe, supportive setting. Through partnerships with local schools, colleges, communities and other organisations, Y Tŷ Celf shares the benefits of creativity and wellbeing. Its projects and activities include work with diverse groups and themes, such as dementia awareness and international celebrations.
