About Yule Sober Living
Yule Sober Living, founded in 2022 by David Maschmeier, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals in recovery. Located in Dallas, Texas, Yule Sober Living aims to empower residents on their journey to lasting sobriety while cultivating a sense of community and belonging.
The organization offers affordable, high-quality housing where residents can connect with like-minded peers and access essential resources for personal growth. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, parking, fully furnished bedrooms, a computer station, and support for personal needs such as laundry and cleaning supplies. Yule Sober Living invites individuals to schedule interviews and get involved, whether by becoming a resident or making tax-deductible donations to support its mission. In loving memory of founder David's best friend, Derrick Adam Yule, the organization continues to honor his legacy by providing a nurturing space for healing and rebuilding lives with dignity and purpose.
