Yurt Rock

Yurt Rock, founded by Ryan Gruss in 2021, is the ultimate destination for musical creation, boasting the world's greatest musicians. Ryan's journey in the music business began after graduating from The Berklee College of Music in 2000, where he specialized in Musical Performance for Drums. His career took off when he landed a job at Atlantic Records, working closely with the legendary Founder and CEO, Ahmet Ertegun.

During his time at Atlantic, Ryan had the privilege of interacting with industry icons like Aretha Franklin, Mick Jagger, and Robert Plant. This invaluable experience and mentorship ultimately led him to explore a career as a professional drummer with indie rock band, The Rinse. Despite setbacks caused by the industry's financial crisis, Ryan's passion for music persisted.

After a transformative journey, Ryan redirected his talents towards the world of digital asset management. Working with prominent companies like Nickelodeon and Revlon, Ryan gained expertise in designing and operating digital distribution platforms. This experience laid the groundwork for his return to the music industry.

Ryan's blog, where he shared his multitrack drum loops and Logic Sessions, caught the attention of music tech blog, Create Digital Music, propelling him back into the spotlight. With Yurt Rock, Ryan has created a platform that celebrates music in all its forms. From instruments to artists, Yurt Rock offers an impressive array of products and services.
