About YWCAHaiti
YWCA Haiti is a foundation established in 2008 by a group of young professional women dedicated to sustainable social activities. As a member of the World YWCA network, with over 25 million women and girls globally, YWCA Haiti works towards justice, peace, health, and human dignity in 120 countries. Driven by the belief that empowered women can combat poverty, YWCA Haiti focuses on girls’ education, young women’s leadership, and women’s health, including sexual and reproductive health.
Their mission is to empower young Haitian women to actively contribute to their communities' reconstruction. For 12 years, YWCA Haiti has been empowering vulnerable young women and girls in Pétion-Ville. Collaborating with various partners and institutions, YWCA Haiti strives to promote education, leadership, and fight against HIV/AIDS among young Haitian women.
