YWCA Calgary is a leading organization committed to empowering women and their families by breaking the cycles of domestic abuse, homelessness, and poverty. With over a century of service, YW Calgary aims to create safe and inclusive environments for healing and personal growth. The organization offers a range of programs and services, including a 24-hour crisis line, domestic violence shelters, and transitional housing. Their outreach services further support individuals facing domestic violence with practical assistance and counseling.

In addition to these vital services, YW Calgary focuses on women’s economic prosperity through language instruction and child care programs that help families thrive. Community engagement initiatives provide spaces for connection and empowerment, including fitness programs and educational resources. YW Calgary not only addresses immediate needs but also advocates for social equity, striving to cultivate a brighter future for all women.
