YWLI Kenya, also known as the Young Women's Leadership Institute, is a feminist center of excellence that has been nurturing the leadership of adolescent girls and young women in Kenya since 1999. The institute was founded to address the lack of space for young women in the women's movement and the assumption that they lacked knowledge and interest in women's rights issues. YWLI aims to empower young women to lead women's organizations and define the agenda for the women's movement in Kenya.

YWLI offers various programs and campaigns to amplify women's voices and agency, strengthen networks for greater impact, and promote sexual and reproductive justice. They support young women leaders to participate in discussions leading up to the 2022 presidential elections and are actively involved in the Generation Equality Forum, a global gathering for gender equality. The institute also runs campaigns such as #WeShallNotBeSilenced, which aims to raise awareness about and support survivors of sexual violence, and #DefendingTheDream, which mobilizes the participation of young women and girls in Generation Equality forums.

By providing legal and psychosocial support, organizing sessions, and influencing public discourse, YWLI is working towards defending the gains of women's rights and empowering the younger generation of feminists to lead the way
