About YzY-Spec
YzY-Spec is a specification tool designed for interior designers who want to bring a room’s selections together in one client-ready document. It combines the mood board, finishes schedule, and floor plan in a printable specbook, with each product assigned a code such as TL-1 or CAB-1. Add a product photo to the board and it appears alongside its schedule entry, reducing duplicate data entry and the risk of mismatched details.
Designers can paste supplier links to capture published product information, or copy a supplier page from a browser when a shop blocks automated access. Missing details are identified as “Not provided” rather than filled with guesses, helping contractors quote from the specifications. Users can also remove product-photo backgrounds within the app and issue specbooks with their studio name and branding.
YzY-Spec focuses on building and printing specifications; it does not provide 3D rendering, project management, or plan drawing. The service is currently in a closed beta, offered free while available, with a stated price of $47. 90 per month afterward
