Zaandhaozenlaand is the carnival organization of Elshout, represented online by Stichting Zaandhaozenlaand Elshout. Its motto, “We moeten deur!!,” reflects the community spirit behind a busy programme of seasonal celebrations and local activities. The organization brings residents together for events serving adults, families and young people, including the 11-11 opening ball, a beer cantus, tonpraoten, a carnival parade, a carnival service, and children’s and youth activities.
