Aplikace Záchranka

Záchranka is a public-benefit organization behind a mobile emergency response app designed to help people request assistance quickly in urgent situations. Users can choose between a medical emergency, routed to 155, and other types of danger, routed to 112. The app also offers a one-button way to contact Mountain Rescue, record a planned hike, and receive information about current mountain hazards.

Additional features include emergency alerts, a database of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), first-aid guidance, and information about emergency services and pharmacies. In participating areas abroad—including Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Bavaria, Finland, and Italy’s Trento region—the app can help users call for assistance. It also supports sharing video from the scene of an incident.

Users can optionally connect their profile with the Czech eRecept system to share verified health information with emergency dispatchers alongside their location during a call. Záchranka works with regional emergency medical services and other partners to support its services, and its app has received recognition in several public-service, health, and technology awards.
