Since 1950, they have been operating in both domestic and international markets through various organizational forms. Initially, they operated as a part of the former Yugoslav construction giant SOUR MONTING, under the MONTMONTAZA company, as OOUR METALURGIJA, focusing on the construction of industrial facilities.

Following the changes in Croatia in 1989, they began operating independently under the new name Zagreb-Montaza, as a company for construction and maintenance of buildings and industrial facilities. After a successful privatization process in 1992, the company continued to grow and develop. Constantly expanding its operations, Zagreb-Montaza Group reorganized in 1994 to become the Zagreb Montaza Group.

Today, their activities include not only the construction and maintenance of industrial facilities but also the production and assembly of electrofilters, channels, equipment for power plants, dust removal systems, steel structures, bridge construction, truck and industrial vehicle chassis, water and gas infrastructure construction, design, production, and construction of aluminum-glass facades, among others. They have achieved significant milestones throughout their history, such as the establishment of B. Kavuric, Industromontaza, and Jugomontaza in 1950, the establishment of the SOUR Monting in 1977, the separation of Metalurgija from Monting in 1989, and the formation of the Zagreb-Montaza Group in 1994.
