Grupo Capoeira Brasil Belgique, also known as Zamis, is an association dedicated to teaching capoeira in Belgium. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines combat and dance, drawing on a blend of Afro-Brazilian cultures and traditions. The association is directly affiliated with Grupo Capoeira Brasil and operates under the supervision of Mestre Paulinho Sabia.

Zamis offers capoeira courses and presents learning pathways for participants, supported by a teaching approach described on its website. Its programme introduces students to the movement, practice, and cultural foundations of this art form. The organisation also shares information about capoeira’s history and highlights its partners and media activities, helping visitors learn more about the discipline and the group.

With a mission centred on teaching capoeira, Grupo Capoeira Brasil Belgique brings together martial arts, dance, and cultural heritage in a community setting. Its stated motto, “Together for a better world,” reflects the association’s broader aspiration while its core work remains focused on making capoeira accessible through instruction and organised courses.
