Zavity Aerospace

Zavity Aerospace Private Limited is a Bengaluru-based Indian aerospace company developing Gravion, a small return capsule designed to bring research experiments from orbit back to Earth. The company focuses on addressing a key challenge in space research: getting experiments home so scientists can study their results in terrestrial laboratories. In microgravity, crystals, materials and living cells can behave differently from those on Earth, creating opportunities for research in medicines, materials science and life sciences.

Gravion is in development and is designed to carry experiments in an onboard bay, use a heat shield during atmospheric re-entry, and deploy parachutes to slow its descent before recovery. The capsule aims to return payloads safely to the researchers who sent them. Zavity also invites researchers and payload teams to discuss experiments for orbital flight, and provides information for prospective investors. The founder-led team brings aerospace engineering and space-sector experience, supported by an advisory network spanning aerospace, research, space technology and commercialisation. Based in India, Zavity’s stated mission is to build in space for Earth.
