Zazie San Francisco, located in Cole Valley, has been a beloved neighborhood bistro since its opening in 1992. Named after the main character in Louis Malle's film Zazie dans le Métro, this quaint restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience for both brunch and dinner. With their extensive menus, you can indulge in a variety of delicious dishes, including their signature brunch favorites and an enticing dinner selection.

The restaurant takes pride in its warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Under the leadership of General Manager Jen Piallat, Zazie has developed a remarkable benefits program for its dedicated staff, including fully funded health and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid family and sick leave. Zazie's commitment to its employees reflects its philosophy of fostering a close-knit and supportive family environment.

In 2017, Jen opened a sister restaurant, Lovina, in Calistoga, where she showcases her own pottery and curates an exceptional wine list. Recently, Zazie underwent a transition of ownership to three long-standing employees who are dedicated to upholding the legacy of this cherished establishment. As Zazie moves into the next decade, the new team is committed to maintaining the exceptional service and warm ambiance that have made it a pillar of the community.
