About Zenj Centre of Excellence
Zenj Centre of Excellence for Tourism (ZCET) is a Non-Profit Organization based in Zanzibar, dedicated to supporting the local community through employment and education. Recognizing the challenges faced by the tourism sector in Tanzania, ZCET aims to create opportunities for underprivileged youths in the hospitality and tourism industry. With the collaboration of TRY (Talent, Results, and You), ZCET is establishing a 'Centre of Excellence in Tourism' that will deliver internationally accredited programs, integrating the unique Zanzibari culture.
The organization strives to overcome the limitations of poor service quality and contribute to the growth of the tourism sector. With a dedicated Board of Directors, including experienced professionals from various sectors, ZCET is committed to making a positive impact on the local community and the tourism industry in Zanzibar. By providing vocational training and emphasizing the culture of service, ZCET aims to enhance the overall tourism experience in the region
