Wir, das Zentralkomitee der deutschen Katholiken (ZdK), sind die katholische Stimme in der Zivilgesellschaft in Deutschland. Wir gestalten aus unserem Glauben heraus Kirche, Gesellschaft und Politik aktiv mit. Das ZdK ist der Zusammenschluss von - Vertreter*innen der Diözesanräte - der katholischen Verbände und Organisationen sowie - weiteren Persönlichkeiten aus Kirche und Gesellschaft. Seit 2019 sind wir gemeinsam mit der Deutschen Bischofskonferenz auf dem Synodalen Weg, um die katholische Kirche mit ihren Strukturen zu reformieren und aktiv gegen die missbrauchsfördernden Strukturen vorzugehen. Außerdem veranstalten wir seit 1884 den Deutschen Katholikentag.
