Združenie STORM is a Slovak civic association based in Nitra, registered in 2002. It delivers prevention, support and outreach programmes for young people, families and people facing risks related to drug use or street-based sex work. Its work also includes informing the wider public and promoting safer, more supportive communities.

The association’s STEREO programme provides primary and secondary prevention of risky behaviour in primary and secondary schools and other educational settings. CIRKUS offers low-threshold support for children, young people and their family members in Nitra. KROK VPRED is a street-based programme for people who use drugs, people involved in street-based sex work, their families and close contacts. In Sereď, ZÓNA operates a low-threshold contact centre for these communities. ECHO focuses on prevention and public education.

STORM shares news and educational resources through its website and blog, and works with donors and partner organisations on campaigns and projects. People can get involved through volunteering, internships and work opportunities, or support the association financially, materially or through media assistance.
