Zebra BW

ZEBRA-BW, the Central Advice Center for Questions of Worldviews in Baden-Württemberg, provides confidential, free and religiously neutral guidance for people seeking clarity about beliefs, groups and spiritual or alternative offers. Supported by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education, the center is independent of religious affiliations and takes an open, non-polarizing approach to differing worldviews. Its work is grounded in the personal freedoms and rights of individuals, while also warning about offers that may restrict fundamental rights or violate the rights of adults and children.

ZEBRA-BW supports people affected by groups, family members, former members, religious communities, public authorities, institutions and schools. Its multiprofessional team brings experience in psychology, education, medicine and ethnology, with additional support from a systemic supervisor. Services include individual advice, information and research, as well as resources for schools and institutions. The center also shares information through publications, checklists, flyers, news articles and a podcast. Its topics include sects, esotericism and alternative medicine, conspiracy theories and fake news, spiritual crises, psychotherapy, coaching and occultism.
