ZEC

LiveZEC is a service that helps streamers accept private Zcash (ZEC) donations during live broadcasts. It combines donation QR codes, encrypted messages, and real-time on-screen alerts, giving viewers a way to contribute without creating an account. Donors can scan a code using any Zcash wallet and attach an encrypted memo to a transaction.

To set up the service, a streamer provides a Zcash Unified Full Viewing Key (UFVK). LiveZEC uses this key on a read-only basis to detect incoming donations and decrypt their memos for display; the streamer retains their spending key and control of their funds. Streamers can add alerts to OBS as a browser source and manage options from a dashboard, including minimum donation amounts, alert appearance, and display currency.

Designed to make donations straightforward for both creators and viewers, LiveZEC supports shielded transactions and keeps memo messages hidden from public block explorers. The company says it charges no fees and has no middlemen, offering account creation for streamers who want to receive ZEC directly in their wallets.
