About Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen
Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen is the largest and specialized seal hospital in Europe. With a mission to protect seals and their habitat, which includes the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea, the center is dedicated to preventing seals from encountering problems. However, if a seal does find itself in distress, it is given care both behind the scenes and in full view of visitors.
