ZenCat is a unique holistic house call veterinary service dedicated exclusively to cats, serving San Diego County since 2017. Founded by Dr. Phoenix Watt, a passionate feline advocate and veterinarian, ZenCat aims to enhance the health and wellbeing of cats in the comfort of their own homes. Recognizing that traditional veterinary visits can be stressful for both cats and their owners, ZenCat provides longer appointments—at least one hour—allowing for thorough examinations and comprehensive discussions on nutrition, behavior, and overall health.

ZenCat offers a range of services including vaccinations, minor surgeries, dental cleanings, and chronic disease management, utilizing both Western and Eastern treatment modalities. Additionally, they specialize in palliative and hospice care, quality of life assessments, and in-home euthanasia, ensuring compassionate transitions for beloved pets. Committed to improving feline healthcare, ZenCat also supports the nonprofit ZenCat Foundation, which provides veterinary services to underserved communities. With a mission rooted in love for cats, ZenCat strives to deliver the best veterinary care tailored specifically for kitties at every life stage.
