Zerotre ODV is an Italian association that has worked since 2000 to support children and young people with disabilities and their families. Its mission is to help improve their quality of life and create opportunities for shared growth, care and inclusion. The association’s work is organised around several programmes.
Vacanze Sollievo, or respite holidays, offer families and young participants a valued opportunity to take part in special holiday experiences. Its wellbeing and rehabilitation activities focus on caring for participants’ physical and mental wellbeing. Activities and workshops provide opportunities for recreation and attentive support, with consideration for parents as well.
Zerotre also invites the community to contribute through donations, five-per-thousand tax allocations, volunteering and solidarity products. The association says that volunteering does not require specific technical skills, but calls for enthusiasm, empathy and a willingness to help. Based in Turin, Zerotre ODV encourages people to join its efforts and support children, young people and families who need assistance.
