ZHUK is a dedicated cyber-partisan initiative committed to assisting politically persecuted individuals seeking refuge from Russian security services. Comprised of anonymous volunteers known as "bugs," this organization operates across borders to facilitate safe escapes for those targeted for their opposition to the Russian regime. The name "Vyvozhuk," a blend of "evacuation" and "bugs," embodies their mission of protecting freedom and providing aid to those in peril.

Since the onset of large-scale repressions following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, ZHUK has responded with urgency, helping evacuees from diverse backgrounds, including activists, journalists, and human rights defenders. The initiative boasts a track record of over 700 requests for help, successfully evacuating 126 individuals from dangerous circumstances.

In addition to direct support, ZHUK actively collaborates with human rights organizations across Europe and Central Asia. They invite those in need to reach out through encrypted communication channels for prompt assistance and guidance.
