Zhwand Charity Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty and expanding access to education and essential services in Afghanistan. Founded in August 2021, the foundation focuses on vulnerable families, including widows, orphans, and children in rural communities. Its work is rooted in Kunar Province and extends to areas including Nangarhar, Laghman, Nuristan, and Kabul.

Zhwand operates a free educational center in Kunar, where boys and girls can attend year-round, and runs education programs that provide children with learning resources and support. Its humanitarian services include food aid, with essentials such as flour and oil, as well as winter clothing and residential necessities. The foundation also supports healthcare access, provides emergency assistance, and offers monthly family sponsorships, which can connect donors with the families they help.

Zhwand reports having enrolled more than 200 students, aided hundreds of families, and delivered thousands of meals and aid. It emphasizes transparency through updates, photographs, and videos showing how donations are used.
