Zialib is a personal website created by Ondřej Zicha that serves as a gateway to his diverse interests and projects. Primarily known as the founder of BioLib, an extensive online encyclopedia, Zialib showcases a wealth of information on plants, fungi, and animals, making it one of the largest projects of its kind on the internet. Since its inception in 2000, BioLib has expanded beyond its initial goal of cataloging Czech insects, reflecting Zicha's enduring passion for entomology.

In addition to his work on BioLib, Zicha is an amateur paleontologist with a focus on non-trilobite fauna from the Czech Ordovician period. He meticulously documents his fossil findings, contributing to scientific knowledge in the field. Furthermore, Zialib highlights Zicha's passion for film and music, particularly through his collaboration on a project aimed at archiving and cataloging Czech and Slovak film soundtracks. Through these initiatives, Zialib embodies a spirit of exploration and dedication to education and preservation.
