Ziggy's Haven Bird Sanctuary

Ziggy’s Haven Bird Sanctuary, Inc. is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe haven for birds in need. Established in 2004, the sanctuary has more than two decades of experience and operates as a no-breed, no-kill facility, placing the welfare of its avian residents first. Located in Inverness, Florida, it welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday for self-guided tours, with guided tours available by appointment.

The organization offers several ways to support and engage with its work, including bird adoption and foster placement options, sponsorships, donations, and volunteer and community involvement. Its services also include bird grooming and boarding. Through community education and outreach, Ziggy’s Haven helps people learn about and connect with birds. The sanctuary hosts summer camps for young people, with beginner and intermediate programs for different age groups. Fundraisers and partnerships with local businesses further support its mission. Monthly sponsorship and one-time donations help sustain care for birds and the sanctuary’s ongoing programs.
