ZigZagSolar

ZigZagSolar is a leading brand in the field of future generation energy harvesting facades. Their innovative concept combines the advantages of a PV-system and an architectural facade, creating a next-generation energy-harvesting solution. These elegant solar facades come in special shapes and can be designed to complement any architectural style, providing maximum freedom for architects to create aesthetically pleasing designs.

By harvesting energy from the facade, ZigZagSolar reduces the need for energy from fossil sources, making a significant impact on reducing fossil energy consumption. The system is also optimized for energy harvesting, allowing you to generate energy even during short and dark winter days. ZigZagSolar offers a range of design options, including an adaptive repetition height and the freedom to choose decorative panels.

This ensures that the solar facade seamlessly integrates into the urban surroundings while maintaining its functionality. Additionally, ZigZagSolar takes pride in their smart engineering, which enables easy maintenance and cleaning activities around the facade. The system is protected by an aluminum profile, ensuring its durability during maintenance, inspection, or cleaning.

ZigZagSolar has already completed successful pilot projects, such as the one in De Wijk van Morgen in Heerlen, in collaboration with Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and with the financial support of Heerlen Municipality. These projects showcase the brand's commitment to sustainability and innovation. With a team of dedicated professionals, including CEO Wim van de Wall and Sales Manager Frank Bartelen, ZigZagSolar aims to provide lifetime environment upgrades through their high yield vertical solar walls.
