About ZKAV
The Zürcher Kantonale Armbrustschützen Verband (ZKAV) is the regional association for crossbow shooting in the Canton of Zurich and one of five subdivisions of the Swiss Crossbow Shooting Association (EASV). It supports local clubs and welcomes anyone interested in discovering the sport, encouraging newcomers to contact a nearby club. The ZKAV shares information about member clubs, the association’s organisation and history, and the achievements of its shooters.
Its website provides competition results, shooting schedules, regulations, event calendars, news, and updates on meetings and other association activities. It also highlights courses, including youth courses, and offers information about course support, club resources, and promotional materials. Members and visitors can find practical resources such as an address directory, newsletters, and a marketplace, as well as guidance for communicating with the media and responding to exceptional situations.
The association publicises upcoming competitions and events, including regional and international crossbow shooting news, and acknowledges its partners and sponsors
