Český klub zlatokopů

The Czech Goldpanning Club (ČKZ) is an association for people interested in gold deposits, geology, the history of gold mining, prospecting and recreational gold panning. It brings together hobby gold prospectors and works to share knowledge about where gold occurs and how it has been mined and recovered. The club promotes gold panning as a sport and organizes competitions and related events, including national and international meets.

Its activities also encourage environmentally responsible approaches and introduce children and young people to gold panning through educational and leisure activities. The club’s website serves members and the wider public with news, an event calendar, reports from past competitions and gatherings, historical information, documents and competition rules. Visitors can also find links, announcements and information about membership and partner organizations.

Through its events and educational outreach, the Czech Goldpanning Club connects sporting competition with an appreciation of gold, mining heritage and outdoor recreation
