The Zelt-Musik-Festival Freiburg (ZMF) is a long-running summer music and cultural festival that has enriched Freiburg since 1983. Set in a green outdoor environment, it brings audiences together for concerts and shared experiences across a varied programme. The 2027 festival is scheduled for 14 July to 1 August, with announced performers including Les Yeux D’La Tête, Suzi Quatro, Spider Murphy Gang and Hubert von Goisern.
Alongside its main-stage concerts, ZMF offers an Actionprogramm that gives emerging and local performers opportunities to appear on festival stages, supported by professional sound and lighting. The festival grounds are accessible without an admission charge, and the event also features family-focused activities, a garden area, food and drink, and initiatives such as a sustainability action day. Visitors can explore the programme and purchase tickets online, while news and updates are available through the festival newsletter and WhatsApp channel.
ZMF also invites supporters to join its Förderkreis, helping sustain Freiburg’s cultural life, and works with sponsors and partners to support the event
