About Zhong Neng Project
Zhong Neng is a leading brand in the offshore wind power industry in Taiwan. They have submitted a comprehensive Offshore Wind Power Development Site Application Plan to the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs in October 2015 and have gained approval. Zhong Neng is a joint effort by China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest steel company in Taiwan, and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), an experienced Danish infrastructure fund.
With their expertise in wind farm development and engineering, Zhong Neng aims to integrate local resources effectively and promote the growth of the offshore wind power industry in Taiwan. CSC brings decades of experience in project planning, management, and power generation, while CIP has an impressive track record in financing and managing offshore wind farms worldwide. Together, they have successfully financed and established 10 major offshore wind farms with a total capacity of 3,361 MW.
