Our family-owned vineyards, some of which have been in our possession for over 450 years, are located around the wine town of Krems an der Donau in the outstanding left bank of the Kremstal, 70km west of Vienna. The wooded hills of the Waldviertel protect us from icy northwestern winds, while the sun warms our stony terraces during the day and the fresh, spicy forest air flows through the Kremstal into the Kremser Bucht at night. The combination of hot days and cool nights, along with the Danube River and the geological and climatic variety of our vineyards, shape our internationally acclaimed wines.
