SomosZOLIC is the Zona Libre Santo Tomas de Castilla, a decentralized and semi-autonomous entity of the Guatemalan government. Established in 1973, their mission is to attract national and foreign investment for projects that stimulate the country's economy through industrialization, services, and commercialization. Their main focus is the promotion and facilitation of Special Public Economic Development Zones (ZDEEP), which reduce unemployment rates nationwide.

By 2032, SomosZOLIC aims to become a logistics platform that contributes to national tax revenue through import and export activities within ZOLIC. They also plan to expand their services by authorizing and enabling ZDEEPs throughout the country.
