Zona Fresca is a fresh Mexican grill brand with multiple locations in Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, and Delray Beach, Florida. Our mission is to create a vibrant gathering place in our community where people can come together and enjoy high-quality Mexican cuisine that is both fresh and light. With a focus on providing a daily dining option, Zona Fresca offers authentic Mexican flavors that can be savored every day.
The brand's journey began 27 years ago when co-founder Oscar de Armas, originally from Southern California, realized the lack of exceptional Mexican food in South Florida. Partnering with successful restaurateur Tim Dobravolskis, Oscar and Tim envisioned bringing the taste and ambiance of authentic Mexican cuisine to Fort Lauderdale. Inspired by the Baja Peninsula's coastal region, Zona Fresca offers bold and simple flavors without the use of heavy sauces or lard.
The menu reflects a quick-service concept that maintains the same high standard of food quality found in fine dining establishments. Over time, Zona Fresca expanded to include additional locations, franchising opportunities, and even an airport location in Fort Lauderdale. At Zona Fresca, our commitment remains the same: to serve Mexican food that is beyond the ordinary.
Whether you're seeking a quick bite or a memorable dining experience, Zona Fresca is the go-to destination for delicious, everyday Mexican cuisine
