Zoo creates infrastructure for modern hardware design, building an AI-native engineering platform that brings design, analysis, and manufacturing workflows together. Its flagship product, Zoo Design Studio, is CAD software for creating editable boundary-representation (B-rep) geometry through familiar point-and-click tools, code, or AI. Available for Mac, Windows, and Linux, the software also works in a browser.
Zookeeper is Zoo’s engineering agent, designed to work with actual geometry. It can research, reason, iterate on designs, propose constraints, and help users assess manufacturability and prepare parts for production. Zoo’s Geometry Engine supports fully editable CAD models and captures design intent through prompts. The platform is expanding beyond design, with analysis and manufacturing capabilities identified as future areas of development.
Through the Aquarium, users can explore real, editable models made in Zoo Design Studio, including industrial, aerospace, and mechanical examples. Zoo also offers developer resources, tutorials, enterprise services, and security features, including a US-based regulated region suitable for ITAR-related information and a SOC 2 Type II audit.
