Zoopet

Zoopet is an aquarium information and community website for fishkeepers, offering extensive resources on aquarium species, plants and invertebrates. Its searchable library includes thousands of free species descriptions, with information covering freshwater aquarium fish, aquatic plants and mosses, shrimp, snails and crayfish. Visitors can browse popular and newly updated entries, view photographs, and explore lists of commonly researched species.

The site also provides aquarium guides intended to help hobbyists create and maintain successful aquariums. Beyond reference material, Zoopet connects aquarium enthusiasts with community groups, discussion forums and organizations, including links to Swedish and Nordic aquarium associations. A Facebook group offers another way for members to meet fellow hobbyists and ask questions. Zoopet also highlights a free Swedish aquarium book made available through a collaboration with Akvarieboken.com.

The website serves aquarium enthusiasts in Sweden and also presents country options for Denmark and Norway. Its content is copyrighted by Imazo AB, and the site offers business membership for access to species descriptions in a commercial setting.
