ZPC Moby Dick

Z&PC Moby Dick is an active swimming and water polo club based in Schoonebeek, in the southeast of Drenthe. The association welcomes people who want to enjoy aquatic sport recreationally or compete, with performance, social connection and participation all valued. Its members train at De Slagen swimming pool, where specialist coaches support the different disciplines.

The swimming section offers opportunities to take part in various competitions as well as swim recreationally. Trim swimming provides a weekly group workout on Wednesday evenings for people looking to improve or maintain their fitness in a friendly setting. Moby Dick also has a broad water polo programme, with men’s, women’s and youth teams competing regularly, alongside under-11 and under-13 teams that play in regional tournaments. The club also includes masters swimming and shares training schedules and membership information for prospective and current members.

Beyond regular training and competition, Moby Dick fosters an active club community through youth activities and social events.
