Zuma Dojo

Zuma Dojo is a martial arts, boxing, and self-defense training studio in Agoura Hills, California, led by Joey Escobar and the Zuma coaching team. Escobar brings decades of experience to the school: he began boxing with his father, professional boxer Peter Escobar, and studied Tang Soo Do under Chuck Norris from age eight. A 9th-degree black belt and accomplished competitor, he has earned national and international titles and has taught martial arts and boxing since opening his first studio in the 1980s.

Zuma offers classes for children and adults, with weekday and Saturday schedules, as well as private instruction tailored to individual goals. New students can try a class free before choosing a monthly Black Belt Training Membership or one-on-one sessions. The dojo also provides student services for belt testing and apparel, and offers access to training equipment through its Revgear partnership. Located on Roadside Drive, Zuma Dojo welcomes prospective students with questions about classes, training, or getting started to contact the team.
