About Zumalakarregi Museoa
Zumalakarregi Museoa is a reference center to discover and enjoy the Basque Country of the 19th century. The museum showcases the biographies of Tomas Zumalakarregi, a general of the Carlist movement, and his brother Miguel Zumalakarregi, a liberal politician. In addition, it presents the context of the intense and tumultuous transition from the Ancient Regime to Liberalism, specifically the period between the French Revolution and the Second Carlist War.
The museum also offers various products and services to enhance your visit. Their extensive educational program, called ZumaLAB, provides a space for reflection and promotes knowledge of history and the contemporary world, traversing complex social phenomena. MusealiaK is the heritage space where visitors can explore objects that hold great value.
