Zushi Beach Film Festival is an annual outdoor cinema and cultural event held on Zushi Beach in Kanagawa, Japan, during Golden Week. Produced by CINEMA CARAVAN, a traveling outdoor film project, the festival brings film, music, art, and community together in a seaside setting. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for April 24 to May 6, with daily programs organized around themes such as Analog Day, Kids Day, Beach Culture Day, Music Day, Africa Day, and Street Culture.
Visitors can enjoy screenings alongside live music, DJ performances, talks, dance, and workshops, with featured films ranging from international cinema to documentaries. The event also offers advance tickets and limited day-of discounted admission for Zushi residents; children of junior-high-school age and younger enter free, subject to capacity. Organized by the Zushi Beach Film Festival Executive Committee, it is co-hosted with the Zushi Art Festival Executive Committee, with support from Zushi City and the local tourism association.
The festival promotes considerate beach use and may adjust or cancel programs for safety
