About ZWB
Zimbabwe Women's Bureau (ZWB) is a national membership non-governmental organization that has been serving its community since 1978. With a membership of over 25,000 individuals, community-based organizations, and institutions, ZWB is dedicated to promoting economic sustainability, household food security, and sustainable livelihoods for its members and their families throughout Zimbabwe.
ZWB partners with a diverse range of local, national, and international organizations to achieve its mission. Their programs focus on providing training, information, financial support, and material resources for sustainable development projects to empower women and improve the socio-economic status of communities.
ZWB's vision is a Zimbabwe where women have access to decent shelter, clothing, nutritious food, and where their children are free from malnutrition. They strive for a society where women are well-informed, educated, self-reliant, and have the knowledge and ability to exercise their legal rights.
With an efficient and accountable governance structure, ZWB ensures that over 90% of its resources are dedicated to program activities. They are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of women in Zimbabwe and empowering them to raise their quality of life independently.
