Zwemjufmirjam

Zwemjufmirjam is a swimming school serving children and families in Rheden, Ellecom and Ede, with lessons held at zwembad De Berkel, Hotel Avegoor and Woon- en zorgcentrum Bethanie. The school welcomes children from age four and aims to make learning to swim enjoyable, relaxed and confidence-building. Lessons take place in small groups, with individual attention from a knowledgeable instructor who joins children in the water. Parents are welcome to attend, supporting close communication between child, parent and teacher.

Through games, varied exercises and learning materials, children become familiar with the water and develop coordination, floating and swimming skills. Lessons begin in deeper water, using a special buoyancy suit to help children practise movement and build confidence through experience-based learning. Zwemjufmirjam offers the Zwem ABC diploma from Sports Education & Adventures, combining swimming skills with attention to safety in and around the pool. Recreational swimming safety is also practised and assessed. The school provides swimming lessons, holiday courses and enrolment options; schedules and fees vary by location.
