Zwemschool Robbedoes

Zwemschool Robbedoes is a children’s swimming school in Amsterdam, serving the city and surrounding areas since 1968. It provides lessons for beginners and more advanced swimmers, with instruction leading to ENVOZ swimming diplomas A, B and C, as well as swimming skills awards. Lessons take place at Optisport Sloterparkbad and Sportplaza Mercator.

The school emphasizes a safe, welcoming atmosphere, small groups of no more than eight children, and the aim of having the same instructor each week. Its qualified, experienced teachers offer individual attention and adapt lessons to children’s needs. Children can start preparing for diploma A from age four, and families may attend a lesson to observe before enrolling. Regular lessons and accelerated packages are available.

Robbedoes also offers tailored swimming lessons for children with additional support needs. These sessions are held in the heated therapy pool at Sportplaza Mercator, in small groups or through one-to-one instruction, with qualified teachers.
