Zwemschool Shoebi

Zwemschool Shoebi is a swimming school based at Zwembad Albrandswaard in Poortugaal, serving learners from Rhoon, Barendrecht, Hoogvliet, Spijkenisse and nearby areas. Its approach combines enjoyable, playful lessons with personal attention and instruction aligned with national Zwem-ABC standards. Children aged four and older can work towards A, B and C certificates in small groups of up to eight, with individual support for water anxiety or additional learning needs. The school also offers small-group lessons, extra practice, twice-weekly turbo courses and progress updates through the Internet Zwemscore Module and app.

Beyond the Zwem-ABC, activities include snorkelling, swimming skills, and mermaid or shark swimming. Children can continue developing their technique after earning certificates through swimming sessions and skills diplomas. Shoebi also provides adult lessons for beginners and swimmers seeking to improve their strokes or earn a diploma, as well as refresher courses and second opinions on swimming progress. Experienced instructors, personal evaluations, instructional videos and home exercises support learners and families.
