Zwemvereniging de Flippers

Zwemvereniging de Flippers (ZDF) is a welcoming swimming club based in Rucphen, the Netherlands, offering sport and recreation in the water for people of different ages and abilities. Its activities range from recreational swimming to competitive training, with options for beginners and experienced swimmers. Young people who have completed swimming lessons can join the youth recreational group, while advanced swimmers aiming to compete can train as start-licence holders. Adults who want to stay active and swim socially can take part in the trim swimming group, which focuses on swimming lengths and fitness.

The club emphasizes friendliness and helping members feel at home. ZDF is affiliated with Uniek Sporten, a national platform promoting accessible sport, and welcomes swimmers with disabilities who can enter the water independently and swim. Training and club competitions take place at Zwembad de Watertuin in Rucphen, a modern pool with a 25-metre, six-lane swimming area. Prospective members can request a trial session and apply through the club.
