The garden provides an extensive catalog featuring a wide variety of Louisiana irises, offering readers valuable articles, stunning photographs, and essential growing tips to inspire both novice and experienced gardeners.

As a reflection of Louisiana's rich culture, Zydeco embraces a collaborative spirit by partnering with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Greater New Orleans Iris Society. This partnership focuses on the conservation, propagation, and promotion of Louisiana irises, utilizing City Park in New Orleans to cultivate these natural treasures for public enjoyment and education.

Zydeco Louisiana Iris Garden not only champions the vibrant beauty of these indigenous plants but also emphasizes the importance of preserving historically significant cultivars, ensuring that the legacy of Louisiana irises continues to flourish for generations to come.
