Zynoptes

Zynoptes develops AI-powered simulation tools for robotics teams seeking to uncover failures before deployment. Its product, ZynoCode, is a command-line interface that runs on a customer’s own machine and helps build a realistic simulation from plain-language instructions and existing simulation code. Teams can bring robot descriptions, controllers, software, and existing worlds without re-modeling or adopting a new format.

Once an initial environment is established, ZynoCode expands it into hundreds or thousands of variations, including changes in lighting, occlusion, clutter, obstacles, wear, and sensor conditions. It executes scenarios in Gazebo and evaluates outcomes against defined success criteria, aiming to detect both conventional technical faults and semantic failures—runs that appear successful in logs but do not complete the task correctly. The system then finds and fixes failures, validates the changes, and repeats testing. Each fix can become a lasting regression test, helping teams strengthen coverage over time. Zynoptes presents its approach as a way to address the gap between limited, hand-authored simulation suites and the varied conditions robots encounter in the field.
